There is a close deadline for a well-paid project position call, seeking for a synthetic chemist to work in the Czech Republic.
Experienced synthetic inorganic and organic chemists, possibly with skills in structural and computational chemistry are encouraged to apply. The formal demands are quite modest, the conditions are given here: https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/jobs/246881. While typically a lot of bureaucracy is involved, a successful pre-selection telephone interview by the head of the group will give you an early answer regarding your chances and invoke a maximum assistance regime in concluding the formal procedures. Please, contact Prof. Ale? R??i?ka (Ales.Ruzicka at upce.cz) and include your CV. Do not hesitate to apply as soon as possible, your chances are high.

5 Reasons to apply :
- You could develop your own ideas in parallel to the project work and thrive in a helping cooperative environment
- A competitive salary of ~1850 Eur after taxes (63000 CzK or 2500 Eur gross salary) and quite low living expenses
- Large well-equipped group with established synthetic traditions (regarding the equipment, a new Bruker diffractometer was purchased last year)
- The university, while small, is well funded, modern, with a new campus build on EU funding, and have strong traditional ties with the Czech industry, which could help in further carrier path
